1Palenk waterfall — A modest waterfall in the lower Logar Valley, the first running water of the walk. Open-air and free, beside the valley path; most water in spring and after rain.
2Logar Valley — The protected glacial valley itself, named after the Logar Farm, home to 35 people on isolated farmsteads. A protected landscape park with open paths; the valley road and trail are free to walk, and farms sell food and lodging.
3Rinka Waterfall — The valley's great cliffside cascade, reached by a short steep trek from the valley road. Free, outdoors. About a twenty-minute climb on a steep path from the car park at the head of the valley; the stop is at the public viewing area, not at the water itself.
4Frischaufov dom na Okrešlju — The mountain hut on the Okrešelj cirque above Rinka Falls, bearing Frischauf's name. A manned mountain hut, reached only by a steep marked path of roughly an hour and a half above the Rinka falls. Open in the summer season only — check before climbing. Food and beds are paid for.

When to go: Morning in summer: the valley floor is cool and shaded early, the falls carry most water in spring and after rain, and the climb to Okrešelj should not be started late in the day.
